"Ms. Kuramora, there's someone here to see you," the secretary announced, standing at the door of Sango's office. She leaned against one side of the door frame, smirking at her superior. She had a feeling who this strange man was; the John Doe that Sango refused to talk about. She'd come into work beaming and talking about the movie she saw the night before, and blushing madly whenever she was asked who she saw the movie with. Her secretary was extremely curious about this man, and decided to grill Sango about him again once he was gone.
Currently, Sango was standing behind her desk putting on her jacket. She was preparing to leave her office for lunch at the closest food place possible, but decided to take a moment to see whoever was waiting in the hallway. "Send them in."
The secretary nodded once and gestured for the guest to come inside. He walked past her and she took in a whiff of him, satisfied with the cologne he wore; subtle but pleasant. He had to find out more about this man. Could Sango have good taste in men after all?
"Inuyasha... what are you doing here?" Sango gasped when she saw him. "Is something wrong?"
He shook his head. "No, nothing at all. I was just hoping that I could take you out to lunch, if that's alright with you."
She smiled at him, her eyes twinkling. "Of course it is. I'm quite surprised you came all the way here just to go to lunch with me."
"Well, it would seem that I can't be away from you for too long."
She quirked an eyebrow at him, his statement sounding suspicious to her. Over the past week or so, it was becoming clear to her that something was changing between them, but she hated thinking about it. Especially since she felt it was one-sided. Either way, she knew it wasn't the time to bring the subject up. "It would seem so. But you should know that I'm not going anywhere special."
"Where?"
She laughed a little. "McDonald's. It's close to campus and to be honest, I've been craving one of their parfaits all morning."
He laughed with her. "Wow. A dean at an university is a slave to McDonald's parfaits. Maybe your taste buds need to catch up to your brain... everything at that place tastes like garbage."
She lightly hit his arm as she walked past him to the door. "Well, if you're going with me, then you'll just have to endure the garbage. Either that or you drive much further for overpriced food. Your call."
Following her back into the hallway and shutting the office door behind him, he frowned. "Damn. You're right. I guess anything qualifies as food when you're hungry."
She shook an approving finger at him. "Exactly."
