i'm back!
♥ to my dearest mom, happy mothers' day!!! i love you! ♥
i know that i told you i'll be away for 3 days or so, but my pseudo-hiatus extended up to yesterday because our computer crashed on the day that i returned to manila. [that was last monday, may 7.]
it sucks. i was so excited to go home because i missed the unlimited internet access thanks to the broadband connection. and when i tried to turn on the device, it wouldn't respond. our computer crashed, to put it simply. that's just great. and it's because it was overheated or something. so my dad had to buy a new power source with four fans instead of two, so that it won't heat up easily. and he also got a better ram (as in random access memory. in case you're wondering). so our computer will respond or process faster. although i haven't noticed the difference, i'm still thankful for the upgrade :))
i'm a city girl. that's a given.
» it was a bit boring in the province, maybe because i was so used to living in the city. come to think of it, i've spent my whole life in the city. anyway, i had a blast swimming with my cousins and playing with the sand by the lingayen gulf. no, the swimming part was in a pool, not the beach. not to mention the really irritating fiesta. i wasn't able to sleep because of that. and thanks to their disturbingly loud speakers, i had a hell lot of headaches and really dark eye bags. thanks for nothing, really.
bad experiences aside, i had a great time bonding with my cousins and my grandparents. i rediscovered my ability to translate pangasinense to tagalog, like what i used to do when i was young. and i can speak some phrases as well :) YAY! and we were really pissed by the local politicians who sang not really in tune after giving annoyingly long speeches so we were shouting pangasinense phrases to shut them up. but we failed in this endeavor. :((
i decided to write a more detailed account of my two-and-a-half day adventure in the province some other day. when i find the inspiration or whatever. maybe tomorrow or on tuesday. or whenever i feel like it :P «
yeah. and just so you know, i'm back!
