I'm sorry it's taken me so long to sit down and write you a letter after 18 years of always getting them from you. I guess I just always started and never finished them. I never really knew what to write about.
The other day mom called me in London and told me that Grandpa had gotten surgery again and that he wouldn't be around for much longer. I guess when I was growing up I thought he would live foreverand we would always fish and walk dogs for the rest of time. Now that I've grown up more I know it's not real, and it's really phased me the past few days how much I'm going to miss him. To me, he was my second father. I want to try to be around or call and write as much as I can. Dad sayd he really misses me, I really miss him too. I keep trying to make plans to come visit but my plans usually fall through due to lack of transportation or me having to work. The past few dys I've kind of just moped around at home and at work. I try to keep the thought of grandpa leaving and being sick off my mind by filling my spare time with friends, but it's pretty hard when I feel like he (and you) raised me in the summers when I would come visit. He's (along with dad) one of them ain influences in my life.
I remember when you two came down in June for my graduation and he walked me arm in arm into the school and said someday he was going to be watching me walk down the aisle like tihs with dad, and even now if he isn't there physically, I know spiritually he will be on my other side walking me arm in arm.
I'm sorry to cut this shower, but I need to get doing some things. I'll write again soon to see how things are.

My grandpa is dying. Tomoro (monday) I'm going to Belleville with my dad till Thursday to see him and my grandma. This is a letter I wrote to give to my grandmother before I leave for home again.
I'm trying to be strong.
Side note:
The other day Zoey was working and I took her over a coke, because I didn't think she had came in like she said she was going to to get one.. SHe works beside my work at the stag shop. Anyways, I walk in and give it to her and she goes "Thanks! Want soemthing from here?" And I say no thakns haha, we joke around a bit, and she proceeds to make me take glow in the dark lube. I didn't think it actually glowed so when I got home and took them out of my bag and turned my light off, they really did! It's aweosme, haha.
LAst night I hung out with Christen and Alex. We had a good night of just watching movies and talking about what girls usually talk about.
