1. I finally caved and got a Netflix subscription, and proceeded to break it in by watching Withnail & I. I am very, very glad I only found out about the drinking game after I watched the movie, because I'm pretty sure there is no variant of that drinking game that isn't a one-way trip to the emergency room. Well, that speculation re: the Pond house was the creepiest thing I've read all day. Well done, please find a way of getting on staff, I want to see you write Moffatian fridge horror.

Trying to pile additional fridge horror onto Moffat's writing is so much fun.

(Images of weeping angels become angels, yeah? And when Blink is over, Sally Sparrow hands the Doctor a file with all her information on the incident--including photographs.

And when the Doctor got zapped back to 1969, he had the file with him, not left in the TARDIS.

Which means that in all likelihood, the first time the Doctor opened the file, he abruptly found himself in need of it, because the angels came out of Sally Sparrow's photographs and zapped him and Martha to 1969.)

Would be better, admittedly, if Moffat had remembered or cared about that bit of worldbuilding (or really any worldbuilding besides creepy moving statues) when 'The Angels Take Manhattan' happened ...

I'm just going to take Angels Take Manhattan as evidence that any additional Weeping Angel Powarz introduced after Blink are made up on the spot and can be ignored if convenient. Which I'd already kind of done for half the crap in the Time of Angels two-parter, because seriously, the concept is creepy enough without piling on bells and whistles at every turn.
