Summary: She was happy being the beautiful face, with one exception...
Over the years, Lavender Brown has been called many, many things...
Some of them including "slut", "whore", "scarlet woman", "hot stuff", and "hey you".
Although, not ONCE, throughout her entire life, had she been called "shallow". I mean, she knew she was shallow, so did everybody else, so it was just one of those unspoken truths that no one never really bothered to say to her, and even if they did, she knew she wouldn't care.
Because, in the end, that was what she was, and she really didn't mind.
She was happy being the beautiful girl with limited brain space, as long as she could be happy in her life.
And she didn't care that her friends were never really her friends, because, when worst comes to worst, who was?
She also didn't care about the rumors that other- jealous, might I add- witches would spread about her, because there is no such thing as good intention, in Lavender's viewpoint.
In actuality, there was only one thing wrong with this, staying in the back of her mind:
Hermione always won.
I mean, first, there was Ron. He was the horrible kisser, her face would be bruised for days, but it all payed off, ya know, when she shoved that in Hermione's face (along with her tongue, but that's beside the point) back in the dorms late at night. Until, of course, Ron dumped her for Hermione, completely oblivious to their midnight revels.
There was also Victor Krum, who Hermione had won over when they first started competing.
But, at least, he went back to wherever he came from, and Lavender and her were back where they started: her throwing hurtful bantering in Hermione's face, and Hermione always pretending that it didn't matter, even though she could so tell that it did.
Oh, well. She would just ignore that.
Because, after all, in Lavender's viewpoint, there were no such thing as good intentions, any ways.
