Hey everyone, since there's a massive slump lately in participation all around I've been debating what to do with the community. I don't want to continue with the community if no more than 1-3 will be entering, 5+ is more incentive for me to keep going. But for whatever reason(s) the entries are slowing down now more so than last year so I'd like

Between the elections and the holidays in full swing.. maybe everyone just needs to take a short break and get the creative juices back? <3

I'm hoping to have my set done by the end of the round -- just have to finish some casting!

I'd love to be able to participate more. Unfortunately, RL has not allowed lately. Maybe after the holidays things will calm down, though I know first hand it's never guaranteed.

I think a short hiatus would be good for everyone. It would help us unwind for a bit before getting back to making icons and feeling inspired again. I really like this community (just the way it is) and I hope to see it continue with new challenges.

Unfortunately, real life has kept me very busy lately as well. Plus between the recent US elections and the current/upcoming holidays, a lot of people (myself included) have been feeling really down and stressed out.

So, yeah ... I think we all just need a little break to help get our groove back. :)
