Just to check, is it supposed to be weighted voting?

Whichever set is the most chosen will be 1st and so on after that. Like in the icon polls. I'm not sure if that's the same thing or not?

jumping in cause i like maths!

what you're describing is not weighted voting, however this line: 'List in order of preference' suggests that the voting would indeed be weighted (each of the first mentioned sets gets 5p, second one on everyones list gets 4p etc and then all the points each set got are summed and the one with most points wins)
now, if it's just like icon votings, the order in which the sets are listed in everyone's votes shouldn't matter, each of the 5 sets a voter listed gets 1 point only, so that the one that was mentioned most often (in any place in the lists) wins. I hope this explains it :>

Yes, that's it (first half of your comment), you explained it much better than I did! :D thanks!

I meant when we vote for our 5 favourite sets, should we be ranking them in order of preference because the voting is weighted and the first set we vote for has the most weighting, or does the order of the sets not matter?

Yes, it's weighted. I wasn't sure there was a difference before and jsfunction cleared it up for me. Sorry for any confusion!

Oh right, in that case is it too late to change my vote?

(Also you might want to include that in the voting post next time because it wasn't clear at the start and I think several other people would have done the same as me)

I think as long as the poll isn't closed, you can change your vote. At least, I changed mine.

I missed the instruction about putting the votes in order of preference, and just put them in numerical order the first time. *whoops*

No you can change it! I think you just click on the poll number and go to fill out poll? I'm not sure if that erases your previous answer or not.

Yes, I will next time. Sorry!
