So after our load wasnt ready till Fri and we made a short 600 miles trip near Gettysburg PA
So now were off to Turner ME..cool!
71N to 76E to 80e to 84N to ..ect,you get the Idea ..its far away !
anyway on 84 in Pa the back strap holding the full 150 gallon fuel tank snapped!..I was in the sleeper with my head over it and never heard it ! drug it for who knows how long before it started leaking !
The EPA and Hazmat and the EM team and cops all told us it busted open at the 17 mile marker and we stopped at the 20 when he saw it !..so we get out and try to get a ratchet strap around it , shut the valve and then limp it to a shop, Right!. it was magled ..full of sharp edges to cut through my leather gloves ....FUN!
any Ida how it feels to be shot out of bed by the breaks to the sound of the Jake break and the cussing of a scared driver!
then as Im outside in the cold rain to have moron drivers blast so close to you that it almost sucks you into them ?!
Not cool at all, what happened to asking on the CB "Hey there driver you ok ?" I dont expect them to stop and i could hear them while outside....then to make matters worse he didnt have any Reflective triangles at all...Pre trip my ass!
So finished the trip and back to ohio and my bed that isnt moving when I sleep
