Wow, I'm getting sentimental, I think?
Reflections on the year past:
I've recently been thinking about the past year, and what differentiates it from others is the amount of travelling I've done. Normally I never leave the central Florida area, but this year opportunity presented itself, and it looks like from now on I'm going to get away as much as possible to help me appreciate (and understand) what I have and don't have here in Orlando. Despite winning things off the radio (which has greatly subsided - a) I'm not trying as diligently and b) There haven't been a lot of things worth winning, really), I've travelled to:
Miami
Ft. Lauderdale (never happens! Thank you Coldplay)
New Orleans (Metairie, if anyone's in the know)/Mississippi/Alabama
Toronto
Boston
Upcoming excursions
California (Napa Valley, San Fran, LA) - June for a wedding
Arizona (Prescott/Tempe) - April for Spring Break
Minnesota? - Whenever to see Kevin
China - Contract for teaching and tutoring English. Fall-ish
If I go back to Louisiana, anyone is welcome to come with if you don't mind me emo-ing out the cd's on the way there.
Oh yeah...Valentine's Day is coming up. The day after is my Bday. What should I do? I don't usually celebrate because it's an excuse to spend money I don't have. Maybe go to Disney? I don't have passes =x
Maybe watch indie films, particularly French or Asian. I dunno. I'm delivering flowers, though. $$$$
