I saw the Constant Gardener and Just Like Heaven tonight.
I have to say -
The Constant Gardener was quite a moving film. The only real shortcoming of the the movie was the use of Rachel Weisz as Tessa - I can't really put my finger on it, but she as an actress doesn't really impress me. I didn't mind her role in Runaway Jury, but she didn't really portray her character as well as I think it could've been done. The movie in and of itself was quite wonderful...perhaps I wasn't quite in the mood for such a strong film, but I found myself getting tired with about 20 minutes left. LAME
Just Like Heaven was a cute movie. I don't like Reese Witherspoon because she's a character actress. She has a cute southern look about her, which I find inherently attractive. But I could watch this movie again, I almost shed a single solitary tear yet definitely walked out with a smile -
Good times. Boring Tuesday, time for a career change.
