“I forgot my coat!” George huffed as he climbed into Elliot’s car. Elliot raised his eyebrows.
“How did you manage that? I set it right behind you just so you wouldn’t, and you still managed to forget?”
“Yes.” George said flatly. Elliot turned the heater on, but he didn’t start driving. George rubbed at his arms, trying to stop the goosebumps that had formed.
“Let me help warm you up before you freeze.” Elliot said softly. He leaned over and covered as much of George as he could.
“Better?” He asked after a moment. George nodded, but Elliot still didn’t break away.
“I love you.” He whispered. George smiled and kissed him.
The fact that the car was still on was forgotten by both of them.
