“It’s warm outside.” George noted. Elliot smiled at him.
“Want to head out there?” He asked. George nodded.
They laid on the ground in their back yard, relaxing in the warmth and sun. George set his head on Elliot’s chest. Elliot’s arms wrapped around his waist.
“This is nice.” Elliot noted. George sighed happily and relaxed as he listened to Elliot’s heart, which was slightly faster than normal.
“You’re tachycardic.” George noted. Elliot shook his head.
“Always a doctor. Medical babble doesn’t leave room for any cute, romantic quips.” Elliot said, pouting.
“Since when are you romantic?” George teased.
“Ever since I met you.”
“In that case… your heartbeat’s fast.”
“Because you’re here.”
“You’re sweet.” George chuckled. He turned kissed Elliot softly but passionately. Elliot returned the kiss with the same intensity.
They stayed there for a few hours, enveloped by a warmth that came from sunshine and from within them.
