Description: - Sofia finds time to ask Sara about her past… once Sara’s opened up she attempts to leave, pledging her usual thing… that ‘nobody could understand’.
The emotions in Sara’s eyes were all too readable. Lovely brown eyes marred by tears… and she’d been so hurt in the past… so badly and so often. She moved her brown hair out of her face and attempted to leave. “Nobody could understand…”
“I understand Sara…” Sofia said softly, catching Sara’s arm gently. “Please… stay… I love you… I still love you…” She knew Sara needed to know she wasn’t upset or put-off by the past she’d had. “You accepted all of me… I accept all of you… you past helps form who you are today… and how could I hate a savage past when it brought me you?” Her words were soft, loving, tenderness she never usually expressed.
Sara sighed and sank to sit, letting Sofia pull her into her lap, crying slightly. She felt a lump of raw emotion in her throat, swallowing dryly and accepting Sofia’s loving kisses.
