Jacob should have known he was going to get sick. You can only spend so many days (or weeks) patrolling in the rain before it caught up to you. Now he was sick at home with the flu.
After trying to hide it for a few days, his boyfriend Jasper found him curled around the toilet trying to figure out why he was still throwing up when he hadn’t eaten anything in a few days. Jasper picked him up and carried him to his bed.
After getting Jacob settled Jasper made a quick phone call to Carlisle. While they waited Jasper ran his ice cold hands over Jacob’s hotter than usual forehead trying to bring him some comfort. Jacob practically purred.
“Feels good. Don’t stop;” Jacob told him, his voice heavy with sleep.
Jasper smiled and dropped a kiss to his forehead.
“Never my love.”
