Ryo winced as he heard Dee singing off-key. His partner was apparently in a good mood, though Ryo had yet to figure out why.
Dee entered the kitchen, a towel wrapped around his waist and still singing in that horrible, off-key sound. For once, the dark-haired man did not look the part of a detective, as he usually did. Rather, in Ryo’s eyes, Dee strutted about like some kind of male super model, gearing up for a fashion show of some kind. It was kind of amusing and kind of endearing. A soft chuckle escaped him.
At the sound, Dee glanced in his direction, a wicked and naughty gleam shining in his green eyes. He walked over to Ryo, smiling, and pressed his body close. He also stopped singing.
“You like what you see?” he asked. His arms wrapped around Ryo’s waist, and his breath felt hot against Ryo’s cheek. Numbly, Ryo nodded. Already, his blood started to rush through his body, and they had not even started anything just yet.
“I always do,” he murmured. Then Dee had him in a smoldering kiss . . .
