RFID passports cracked for about $350

Since the 9-11 attacks, the US demanded stronger security for passports. Over in England a software head wrote code that cracked the British Secure passport in just about 48 hours.

The article opens up with a blurb about discovering somebody's private details from their discarded boarding pass. But the new RFID passport also carries biometric information.

In short, everything they've done to try to make it harder to get in has pretty much made it easier.

Morons. Why not issue everybody a baby elephant with your picture tattooed onto it - and the elephant can grow WITH you!
