"I can't be with a man who can't love only me." Edward had draped his red coat over the back of the couch as he sat down next to Roy.
"Edward I don't understand-" Roy began but Edward grabbed his coat and stood up.
"Don't give me that fucking bullshit! I saw you with him yesterday! Remember yesterday in the break room?" Edward yelled while he lost control of his anger and threw an extra pocket watch he found on one of the desks at Roy.
The watch narrowly missed Roy's head and cracked the wall slightly.
"Ed! Wait!" Roy tried to get closer, but if Roy got closer; Edward threatened to use his alchemy.
"You can say bye-bye to fucking me every night and then fucking Jean Havoc every day behind my back! Now, you can fuck him all day!" Edward opened the door and then slammed it with great force as he left Roy alone.
Edward shoved his arms into the sleeves of his coat; not caring that he ripped it a little. He ran down the hallway and then outside. It was pouring rain, but he wouldn't have cared if there had been a twister outside.
As long as nobody saw him or followed him.
He began walking, not really caring which direction he went or what was happening around him. He was trying to forget all of those illusions that Roy made into his once most cherished memories.
Ed had thought for sure Roy would make him happy for the rest of his life, but he knew he shouldn't have put so much faith in a man like him. Roy was a two-timer, it was his nature. What had ever made Edward think he would be any different?
When Ed finally looked up and tried to figure out where he was, he had somehow ended up almost a mile away and was on the bridge. That river was deep enough to drown a person; not to mention since it was flooded from the rain and freezing cold since it was winter.
His life could've been ended so quickly just then, but something stopped him from jumping. Maybe it had been his brother Alphonse, but then maybe it was the determination to show Roy he could be happy without him.
"Ed! Brother!" Alphonse was yelling his name when he finally saw Edward who had been staring at the water.
"Don't worry about it Al... I'm not about to let him be happy and not me. I'll never let him see the tears I cried for him." Edward looked up and noticed that Alphonse had been followed too.
"Edward, what happened?" Hawkeye finally found them both and seemed nervous of Edward being so close to the bridge's railing.
"Nothing I want to talk about Lt. Hawkeye. I'm sorry, but this is personal..." Edward looked up at the endless and faraway sky as the rain lessened some.
"Before you catch cold, we should get back to headquarters." Hawkeye ushered them to a car she had parked close by and began driving them back to headquarters.
"What was all the yelling for? And why is there a crack in the wall by Roy's desk?" Hawkeye asked as she kept the car steady on the slick roads.
"Roy and I got into a fight. No big deal."
"But Brother, everyone could hear some of the yelling. Nobody heard all of it, but you were yelling loud enought for Hughes to hear you."
Edward didn't look upset or shocked by the news and only nodded.
"Hawkeye just tell him it's over."
"What's over?" Al asked as he saw his brother slowly drifting into sleep.
"Everything."

I know, I know... It's kind of like a rip off of the song, but still it is different.
