(no subject)
So I've finally moved to Newport. The soon-to-be In-laws are excited very much for Steven to be moving out. I guess they feel it's a coming of age, becoming a man thing.
Among other things, I'm glad to say goodbye to Clifton, OH. The crime-ridden, alcohol-saturated-party-life, environment of sorts really got to me perhaps. It got to my head---where I felt I had to be on guard, selfish, and stubborn at all times.
I'm glad that I was able to find this little one a home. After Allison took her in from the street and we took care of her, eventually I had to have her bunk at my place. It was quite an ordeal when this pup, Nico, got sick to her stomach and puked for one day. But she's fine now... living in Loveland with a 30 somethings Mother of two...happily married for 5 years now. :sigH:
There -will- be a studio here. Steven plans to custom-build amps, repair amps, and custom-build lap-steel guitars while recording people for a prime rate. Whereas I'll continue teaching and hopefully get a full-time job at the apple store doing the same thing.
I think me and Steven are browsing to find a custom ring-maker for our very long engagement. It'll be a while before my mother comes around.
