So my effing ibook's logicboard has died... I take it that this is like the motherboard or some other crucially important part. When I took it to be looked at by Mac persons they were like 'yeah, we don't even suggest we do diagnostics, we've seen this so often that we are completely sure." And basically they went on to say that the costs of having it repaired are around 900$ and so its not worth doing.. So shit. Also my computer is no longer under warranty because for whatever reason I don't have an extended warranty, just the standard 1 yr that came along with it. My computer is 2 yrs old. What the hell. Is this normal?? can't be.. I've used macs my whole life. This is bullshit. I will be giving apple a call and hopefully they wont totally screw me.
Ugh. well until I sort this out Rich has lent me the computer I am currently using which is awesome of him. And I have everything backed up so nothing is lost. blah.
