Jose scooped the paper CD up to smooth out the creases. Staring at more money then he’d ever had in his life. He thought of the warm kitchen filled with the aromas of baking, the laughter that was a song in the small house, and the welcoming hugs that were given with frequency.
“Come home with me, my love.”
