William nudged Unzel from his sleepy satisfied repose. Unzel just groaned and rolled over. William pushed him off the bed.
A rumpled Unzel scratched his head, looking askance at his lover. “you’re supposed to get the bread out of the oven!” William sighed exasperated, nudging him again with his foot.
Judging by the smell, William was right. It was just this side of delicious, with hints that it wouldn’t stay delicious for long.
Unzel plodded to the oven, took his oven mitts and pulled the barely overdone bread out.
His stomach rumbled. From the bed, another stomach rumbled in echo.
