Under any other circumstance there would have been music in the surrounding sounds: in the crickets, the tree frogs, the wind rustling through leaves and grass, the crashing of the waves on the rocks and sand, the low rumble of constant conversation. Hell, he might have even liked it when Chuckie took out the old guitar and played Let’s Have a Campfire Sing-Along with everyone. He would've let the sounds of the tropics lull him to sleep, content in knowing the sun would rise and he could stretch and head out to another beautiful island day.
