“What’s this?”
“Just open it.”
It’s impossible to give this guy anything without getting dozens of questions in return.
Richard opens the packet reluctantly, keeping his eyes on Miles at the same time, a puzzled expression covering his face.
“What?”
“Nothing. What is this Miles?”
“What does it look like?”
It’s a midnight blue collar shirt. Richard holds it up, bewildered.
“What’s it for?”
“Our date tonight.”
“Our date?”
“Hey, if we’re gonna sleep together, I might as well take you out for dinner. No?”
They stare at each other for a few seconds, unsure, then they burst into laughter.
