So I figured I will be driving by September of next year. By the time my grandparents get me my truck (!!! HELL YEAH !!!) and all that stuff I would end up getting my lisence by the same time either way but if I wait until my 18th birthday I can get my permit and go take my test the next day. This gives me about a year to save up for a shitload of car insurance so I can just put a down payment and not have to worry about it for the first few months I'm driving.
