Heh. I figure Harry can be forgiven for having some off the wall thoughts as he figures out how everything works again. He does jump to some offbeat conclusions.

I try to resist the urge to start sequels to everything. I have two definite sequels in the works, one for Tempus, and one for By Any Other Name -- the rest stand alone.

If anything I'd kind of like to write a pre-quel to this one, about the period of time when the relationship did get started. That is, if I can't convince someone else to take up the flashbacks in here as a plot bunny for me...

Even in death, the Malfoys wreak emotional havoc on poor Draco.

I think I supposed here that Narcissa was alive, but Lucius was a ghost... Either way, yes, they still exert a large influence on Draco's emotions.

Heh. Yeah, I think if they were both ghosts, or even portraits, he might have been able to ignore them a bit better. But having his actual mother at the house... he couldn't stay there and deal with her.
