Severus Snape
Draco watched in awe when Professor Snape went on demonstrating how to brew a potion. He had never seen such a fascinating thing. All the ingredients reacted to each other and he couldn't really believe something which contained crushed beetles and knotgrass would eventually lead to Healing Potion. They were not supposed to brew this one, it was too hard for first years, but Snape simply showed them to try and get the students to understand what could be done with simple ingredients if only you'd mix them right.
When they were not in class, Draco's eyes would follow the man whenever he would be in the same room. He was curious about him, and awed by him. He ruled his classes like he would rule a kingdom, he hated the very sight of Potter and he demanded respect. At that moment, Draco wanted to be just like him. Strutting through the hallways, robes billowing, having the power to snarl at whoever he pleased without having to sit through detention for it later. But then again, who was Severus Snape? What made this man tick? What made him the man he was now? Draco didn't know, but he surely wanted to find out.
