Severus slipped inside silently.
Soft snores reassured him that Draco remained asleep, and Severus stripped, folding his robes before climbing into bed.
Draco shifted, and Severus’ arm automatically went around him.
Moments later, Draco resettled, now curled into Severus’ side, face tucked into Severus’ chest.
Severus closed his eyes, finally relaxing. It had been a trying day. It wasn’t easy to get into Hogwarts without being seen, but Severus knew all the ways, and the risk had been worth it. One memento gone missing from Albus’ office wouldn’t matter.
Clutching his prize, he clicked the Put-Outer, and the lights went out.
