Good lawd, I don't know how long I've been gone. But, here I am, again.
Long story short(ish):
Dropped out of college when mom got sick, I weighed 292.
Started working out and running multiple miles, dropped to 230-something.
Went to culinary school, gained back to 260 but started running again and managed to hold steady.
Moved back home and mom died, ate back to 285. Lost like 20 pounds and gained them back.
Quit my old job and started a new one that makes me happier and pays better, gained all that weight and was up to 300 when I "caught" myself.
Got the LoseIt app and started walking 2-3 miles in the morning 4 or 5 days a week with the dog, lost about 8 pounds, then gained it all back through the holidays/my birthday, even still walking.
Bought a FitBit last Thursday night and started tracking with LoseIt again. Shopping spree on pretty new running shoes and cute running tights and fleeces for exercising outdoors. Went back to Zumba this week for the first time and was able to still do it.
Started Couch to 5k again last night, and (oops, but yay) went 10 minutes longer than what was "prescribed".
Over the summer I had my physical for a job in the Department of Corrections and I passed everything by my BP was borderline hypertensive and my resting heart rate was up (when I was running daily my RHR was 58 - it's now about 78...) - I blamed the BP on a stressful job that made me suicidal more than once, and it was coming down in October, and I'm guessing has come down more.
I'm working on creating a budget-friendly, macro-balanced, minimal prep time meal planner, which is proving to be a much more daunting task than I thought. Once I figure it out though, I want to create a database/website for it.
Anywho...
