I think there's something too perfect about Giotto, too. But at least Giotto doesn't have those compass eyes, which really look like they're going to be a symbol for something terrifying.

And is it just me or see Daemon Spade's motivation really hard to understand? He waited so long to gain control over the Vongola >.<
Also, agreed. But at least with Giotto I can see a few flaws. Cozart, not so much - I'm guessing since these are Giotto-memories and he's overlooking anything 'fault' worthy. Maybe Giotto just secretly likes building up suspense in really theatrical ways. And yeah, those eyes are pretty creepy. I'm kind of curious as to why only these seven are different 'flame' users, too. Possible human experimentation?

Spade's characterisation makes no sense to me, as yet. How hung up can you really be on a family that you didn't found? Messing with it for centuries is bizarre.
Cozart's own memories also make him seem like a nice guy. He's hanging out with happy families in the one, and fighting for Giotto's sake in the next. I do wonder where corruption will set in.

Actually, I thought it was going to be some kind of human/demon crossbreeding experiment, since all the Simon kids have red eyes, and "Enma" also the name of the king of the underworld.
