Dean studied the pamphlet for a while, then followed the instructions on it to contact the main 'CPU' (whatever the hell that was).

"Okay, so I'm doing this right then. Is there somewhere better to live than these crappy apartments?" Not that he hasn't lived in worse motel rooms, but he had mom to think about now, and she deserved better than these.
It processess for a few seconds, before deciding:

"...I don't think so. No." He frowns at his videophone, sure that's not right.

"Yeah." He was remembering something about archways from the pamphlet, and felt more confident in this being right.

A pause as he thinks about it. not too long, it becomes pretty obvious pretty quick. "Lawrence, Kansas." He gives the house number and street just to be sure.

Dean frowns at the videophone again, this time in confusion. "How little money can I give you is the question." Not that he wasn't willing to pay quite a lot of money - it would be worth probably all of what he had - but that was a different matter. It doesn't hurt to try.

Almost immedidately, he says "Options" because it saves him reading the whole damned thing to find what he wants to know. He mutters to himself about being stuck away from home and still never being able to talk to a damned human, too.
A pre-recorded tape begins to play, with generic, soft background music.

Okay. Well, he just wants a house, not the whole of frigging Kansas, so he shouldn't have to pay that much, right? "You can take the memories of hell." He's more than willing to get rid of them.
The response doesn't take too long at all.

It freaking figures. He's going to argue the impotance of it, when it clicks. "You mean good crap, right?"
It takes a moment to process and decipher this.

Well, shit. He needs all good he can get. but on the other hand, it hasn't taken him long to get attached to the idea of living back home. He tries to think of something that's important to him that he still has to give away. He doesn't want to give anything away, but then... something comes to mind. How he hasn't got the amulet Sam once gave him. Reluctantly he replies "memory. christmas 1991." He hasn't got the amulet, so he won't miss what he doesn't remember having, right? That christmas was important for more than one reason, but it's the only thing he can think of right now. And it doesn't seem such a bad price for home.

"Yes" Is all he can say before he changes his mind and regets it. He can live at home with mom for the first time since he was four, and she sure as hell deserves better than the crappy apartments.

With that he shut it off and slid it in his pocket, and made his way to go find home and happily found the prospect returning to Lawrence, Kansas wasn't leaving him with an icy stabbing in his stomach for the first time since that night.
