Miss Edith was ever so bored, with nothing at all to do but gaze throughout the stars, and uncover all sorts of little secrets along the way. Normally her companion, Drusilla, would talk to her and they would have all sorts of wonderful tea parties. But lately Drusilla was ignoring her; she hadn't meant to be bad but she just couldn't help herself, and now Dru was mad at her.
Still that meant that she was able to find a new friend to talk with. One that was lonely and had been for such a long time. Miss Edith didn't even want to think about how long that really was; but she knew that she wouldn't be able to just abandoned her friend for Dru when the time came. In fact, she was sure that she would eventually share her friend with Dru, just not at the moment.
Atlantis was just so wonderful and knowledgeable, telling her of the old stories in a way she had never heard before. Then there were the not-vampires who had dared to exist. She was sure that Dru would not at all be happy about those. After all, everyone knew that only vampires were supposed to feed on the humans, and that these not-vampires would dare to poach upon what was so clearly not theirs, well that was just unthinkable.
Miss Edith was sure Dru would agree with her and perhaps in time they would travel the stars and visit Atlantis. Then they would be able to help figure out a way to deal with the not-vampires and restore things to the way they were meant to be. Mainly that vampires were the ones who were supposed to feed on humans and they were certainly not meant to share the humans with others.
