It's been 365 days since Kanou-san became a part of my life. I don't know if this is for better or for worse, but... it seems as though these past 365 days have been the most eventful, if not the happiest days of my life. Kanou-san and Kuba-san (both of them!) have been kind to me and came to my aid everytime something goes terribly wrong. Sometimes I wonder if he's psychic. I wouldn't be surprised if he is! :)
Ayase closed his journal slowly, allowing his idle thoughts to linger for a few seconds more before he placed them away for good altogether. For some reason or another, Ayase remembered this date clearly. The day Kanou redeemed him and... later that day, he even made him some soup when he wasn't feeling well. Was it a cold? Or was it something else? He can't remember so clearly anymore, but only the details that involve Kanou matters.
"I am indebted to him in every way," Ayase muttered as he looked out the window and sighed. Initially, it felt utterly disgusting when the bigger man pinned him down and penetrated him in a way he never thought was possible but today... right this moment... Ayase craved the intimacy they shared and the feeling of security Kanou's arms bring. The fragile teen began hugging himself tightly as a chilly morning breeze invaded the calmness. At least the calmness on the surface, anyway.
Just then, Ayase's cellphone vibrated in his pocket, signalling a possible call or a text message from Kanou. Quickly he flipped the phone up with his trembling hands and confirmed that it was indeed the latter.
I caught a nasty cold. Won't be leaving Germany tonight. I haven't forgotten. Kuba will bring you to me.
Those simple words made his heart leap. What a coincidence! He wasn't happy about that fact that Kanou is sick but this will give him the chance to at least repay him... in more ways than one.
