"If you could visit one place, right now, where'd you wanna go?" Juliet asked one night. They're sitting on their front porch, enjoying each other's company.
She'd no idea why she asked, and for a minute, she even thought he didn't hear her. Then, he turned his head.
"Paris," he said, smiling. "That's where my parents met. After college. Before … the bad stuff happened. Mom always said Paris is where true love still happened."
It's the first time he mentioned his parents, but he didn't seem to be upset, and Juliet promised to herself that, one day, she'd take him to Paris. To where true love still happened ...
