Your photos are all great - I especially love Covered - but I can't stop looking at Sweet. That is one awesome cake. I want it! FanSee

It was a pretty delicious cake! Actually, since it's from an asian bakery (Korean) the cake itself isn't as sweet as typical American cakes. But the frosting and cream filling was delicious and fresh tasting/feeling, and the fruit was covered in a delicious clear glaze (you can see the little drops on there).

It was a $25 cake, we ordered it the day before the event.

I did notice the little drops!

We have a number of Asian bakeries in Philadelphia - I'll check them out. And around here, I'd pay $25 for a very ordinary cake that size...which is why my family always has my home-baked, lop-sided, strangely-iced cakes that NO ONE would take a picture of. FanSee

Thanks! Yeah, I'd thought kool-aid would be difficult and I was thinking I'd have to go out and buy some and make a pitcher and try to get a good photo of it but this was more interesting :)

That's a lovely set! I love the colours and contrast in all of them. My favourite is Sweet, although that may be due to the fact that I'm hungry... :-)

Thanks! Of course, the cake itself was just so beautiful - the bakers did all the work and i just snapped a boring photo :P But it does look just as tasty as it did in person!

The squirrel was great! When I first got home, he was wandering around with a 3/4 sized squirrel and let me walk up pretty close to them. So I went to get the camera, and when I came out, I didn't find them. I assumed they'd gone up into the tree, and I was searching and searching. I turned to my fiance and said "I guess they disappeared" and he laughed and pointed - this guy had been sitting there watching me walk around and around and somehow I didn't see him!
