I can't even really describe how I felt when I took this picture. I felt as if I was in a movie. The whole cab of the train was empty and it was silent except for the clicking on the tracks.

this is in birkenau. I think that this is my favorite photo that I've ever taken, although it looks so innocent and the crematorium which should be in the background is gone, the train tracks really remind me of scars. Although the bad parts are gone, you still have this path that is left to remember the place by.
