My friends and I are very juvenile, but the name of this place cracks us up.
038 - cliche
This is apparently the big joke around Chicago now. Every one of these newspaper boxes now looks like this. And I'm sure every 14 year old who peeled off the F and the leg of the R thought they were terribly original.
057 - rose
I made myself late to work taking this shot. It's over Lake Michigan at just before sunrise. There's nothing for the red light of the sun which was just *about* to come up (see #97, this post) to reflect off of but the water. I actually had to pull off LSD to try and get this shot as best I could. It was just so cool.
074 - found
Found in a bookstore. For obvious reasons, I found it highly appropriate to snap. :)
97 - begin
I leave for work at 6:45. Right now that puts me on LSD just before sunrise. Some days that can be a damn cool sight. I hate that the best of the four shots I took here has that damn lightpole right where it is, but it's still not bad. This was taken about 5 minutes after 'Rose' (#57 - this post) and you can see the very end of that red light that rose up from the sun. Still don't know what caused that. In all the sunrises I've seen in the same place I've never seen that before or in the few days since.
Wow, not one picture of the ferrets. Wonder if that'll ever happen again. ;)
