Concrete is my favourite from this batch - and I'm impressed you got close enough to the flies to take their picture - I get the little devils in my compost bin and they fly up at the slightest disturbance

I fear the flies were having too good a time to fly very fast. Shortly after taking the photo I sprayed them - and boy, did they move then. NOT what one wants to find in the kitchen, though :(

I *hated* 'swarm' - but then so would anyone finding that on the kitchen table. My family thought I was nuts taking a photo before spraying them, until I produced the list of challenge words.
