God, Katie. If you're trying to kill me, you're doing a beautiful job. I was going to quote passages of this that I loved, but then I realized that for the mostpart I would just be copying and pasting the whole thing. His reluctance to be there, losing her, not being able to get near her till the end... Wow.

I was thinking a lot about this very scenario after I saw that interview in which Keanu confessed to being late to her wedding, and it played out in a similar fashion. That must have been a very hard day for him. *sigh*

Cool. Great minds think alike! But yeah, it was that interview and another where Keanu was trying to play off that he didn't stay the whole time and Sandra was like, "Oh yes you did! You stayed until the last guest left!" Aw. And so this was created. :)

I can't imagine what it must have been like for him - especially since it was a surprise AND he came late. I mean, it's one thing to walk in late on a birthday party, it's another to walk in late and realize she's getting married to ... Jesse.
