Xenoblade nonsense.
More on Dunban, does any pair of glasses in the game not look huge on his face? Glasses are great, but he looks really funny.
I love that you get an agility bonus for taking off all armor, leaving them in underwear. While you can do it to the girls as well, the only one who really makes use of this is Dunban--who is both a dude and the oldest party member.
I'd rather just strip everybody anyway, because these costumes are TERRIBLE. Dunban looks awesome until you change his clothes. Everybody else is boring and so overly detailed that the Wii's graphics can't really handle it very well anyway. Adding a ton of belts and patterns to clothes is a really lazy way to stylize a whole culture of people. And then you get armor, oh fuck. There are a lot of awkward-looking helmets and things that make cutscenes hard to take seriously. Reyn's armor in particular makes him look like somebody rolled him like a katamari.
So yeah, I did actually find something critical to say about this game.
