There's not enough Lirin - good to see this. And for some reason, I really didn't see that end coming. Poor Yaone and Kou! Nice use, and cute!

whenever i think of Yaone and Kou, i always go for awkward romance. awkward because Kou doesn't know how to deal with his feelings, like a certain grumpyrobed monk, and Yaone always will see her lord as out of her reach.

it felt good to write Lirin. i think out of all the usual suspects in Saiyuki, Lirin is the most forgotten one.
