so....i've just finished my gundam overload...and have watched seed, seed destiny, and 00 so far. My verdict has got to be that gundam 00 is by far my favorite. Seed is good as well, i liked the characters in it but it was definitely not as powerful as gundam00 was, or is. Destiny was not good, and it gave me a freaking headache for like 3/4's of the show.
Anyways...so I enjoyed Seed very much, and I have decided that Athrun and Cagalli are my favorite couple in the series followed quickly by Mwu and Marius(sp?). I hated Destiny, and while some parts were pretty spectacular it wasn't worth the emo overload from the sissy-pants-want-to-punch-him-in-the-face Shinn, and unfortunately Athrun became a wimp and emo as well. Personally I found Destiny a sloppy remake of Seed (i.e. romantic stranded island scenario, kira fighting athrun, fighting yet another super powerful weapon, etc. etc.). To me it also cheapened the point Seed was trying to get across because ZAFT and the Earth Alliance were both still fighting and both still stupid. Anyways...all in all the best part of Destiny was probably character theatre (attthrruuunn, kiiiiiraaa, atttthhhrruuuuuuuun, kiiiiiiiiiirrraaaaa...)
Gundam00 bawled like a baby for the last three episodes straight. The graphics are pretty impressive with the new blu-ray/high def look. (it's super smexy). Gundam00 is definitely not for younger audiences, and has been accused of being boring. The political intrigue kept me on my toes, and while the story didn't focus on the characters, I was still bawling when various characters died. The story didn't get bogged down, and didn't get too caught up in itself. Loved the music, especially the second ending, and i find it intriguing that the music has mostly a heavy rock theme. The human moments in 00 were pretty heartbreaking, the only drawback is the wait until October before we can see what happens >__<...
All in all pretty worth it (except for Destiny <--really regret this mistake)
Favorite Characters:: Mwu La Flaga, Cagalli Yula Attha, Athrun Zala, Lockon Stratos, Feldt Grace, Kira Yamato, Christina Sierra, Lacus Clyne...and...HARO!!!
