Notes: When I think of lolita, one of the first things that pops into my head is macarons, and this is one of the first dresses I bought secondhand when I was starting a wardrobe. I like how this particular mix of brands ended up working. I initially wanted macaron accessories but I couldn't decide on something I liked, so I went the candy route instead. I got a great deal on the headbow and love the gold swing charm in the middle. I have also worn it with the Soft Cream JSK from Bodyline, which I no longer own. I made the wristcuffs out of embroidered mesh lace and satin ribbon, and made grosgrain bow pins to go on them so I can switch them out (I have also made lavender satin bows for these) and use them in lots of outfits. A busy coordinate such as this requires hair to match and balance everything out, so I got me some big pink hair. Being that this coordinate is a bit sweeter than I normally wear and I don't generally like attention from strangers, I ended up wearing this for the first day of a local convention where there are lots of people dressed in unusual outfits. I am still learning how to wig, but even if it doesn't look the best I still feel incredibly cute with a giant mop of pink curls on my head. Practice makes better. ;)
