PART I
“Are you going to hold every little thing I say against me?” Terry cried.
Pansy smirked. “Yes, I think I will. We’re getting married soon; you’re going to have to start making good on your promises.”
Terry smiled. “Yes, I know. There are a lot of things I’ve wanted to do for you but the first step was asking you to marry me.”
Pansy smiled as she sat down on his lap, laying her head against his. “I’m glad you did start with that. You’ll have plenty of time to give me everything I want starting after our wedding day.”
PART II
You’ll have plenty of time to give me everything I want starting after our wedding day, he remembered Pansy saying. One year later they were getting married. Family and friends were there to share this special occasion. During the reception Blaise rose to his feet.
“I would like to make a toast to Pansy and Terry,” he slurred. He swayed a little, letting everyone know he was drunk.
Michael rose to his feet too. “No! I was supposed to make a toast first,” he slurred.
Blaise pushed Michael away from the podium. A drunken Michael fell into Daphne Greengrass’s lap.
PART III
A drunken Michael fell into Daphne Greengrass’ lap.
“Oh, hello!” Michael replied sweetly.
Daphne looked distastefully at him as Pansy pulled Blaise from the podium.
“Thank you, darling. I appreciate it.” She smiled at him before gently shoving him out of the way.
As she and Terry continued with the ceremony, Michael snuggled against Daphne’s lap. “What did you think of the vows?” He asked her, slurring.
Daphne didn’t have the heart to tell him to get off of her. Just as she opened her mouth, Pansy’s bouquet landed in her lap - and subsequently on Michael’s face.
“Fate!” Michael squeed.
PART IV
“Fate!” Michael squeed. He admired the flowers that were currently on his face. Daphne shook her head. Blaise walked over to where Michael and Daphne were sitting. He yanked the flowers out of Daphne’s lap and subsequently Michael’s face.
“Hey! Those are our flowers,” Michael whined.
“Not anymore they’re not. These flowers are going to help me win Tracey back and if they don’t work on her then I’ll try to win Ginny back.”
“You’re despicable.”
“You’re such a flatterer Corner. Who knew you had it in you?”
Michael got up from Daphne’s lap. “Hand the flowers over right now!”
PART V
Michael got up from Daphne’s lap. “Hand the flowers over right now!”
“Accio,” Daphne said and the flowers flew into Michael’s face. He grinned and moved them aside. “You’re so dreamy.”
Blaise frowned. “Damn, now what am I going to do?”
“Maybe you could’ve written,” Ginny said smoothly in her bridesmaid’s dress, moving over to pull Michael into a sitting position. The Ravenclaw fell against his friend.
“Daphne’s lap smells like roses.” The Slytherin girl flushed. Pansy’s bouquet was of lilies. It didn’t make sense.
“I’m sorry I didn’t write,” Blaise said, “I wanted to.” Ginny crossed her legs. “Typical.”
