It's not so bad when you don't know that you're saying something racist. You're just being an idiot. But when it's pointed out to you and you still dismissively say the same thing then you're a racist and an asshole.
As happy I am with how well Gilas has performed, we Filipinos still have a long way to go when it comes to internet decorum. Hopefully we're better at it by the the time we get to Spain. People should realize that the racist jokes you post on twitter can be seen by other people. As much I hate it, those opinions will also reflect on us as a nation.
