As much as it pains me to do this, I am selling my 2002 KHS Bitch. I don't have health insurance, my left knee is pretty thrashed, and I don't have any business doing ten foot drops anymore. So yeah. I'll most likely use the money for a new fork for my cross country mountainbike and try to get into racing, or something. Beats me. Maybe I'll just get tattoos. Whatever. Here are the specs.
Frame: 2002 KHS Bitch frame. 16", somewhere around 25 pounds or so. Aluminum. You can check out a pic of the frame on the KHS website (I believe it is under the slalom/jumping section)
Fork: 2002 or 2001 (not sure) Bombshell Betty. Dual crown, 6+" of travel.
Stem: Kona DH
Bar: Syncros DH riser
Grips: Intense
Front Brake: Hayes 8" hydraulic disc
Front Wheel: Mavic D321 Disc laced to a GT hub
Front Tire: Nokiam Quazzaloddi Dual 2.3"
Rear Brake: Shimano XTR V. You can stop on a dime with this bastard.
Rear Wheel: Sun Rhynolite rim laced to Shimano Deore hub.
Rear Tire: Maxxis High Roller 2.5"
Cranks: Shimano XT DH
Pedals: Shimano DH platforms
Bottom Bracket: unsure, but burly
Chainguide: Evil bikes
Saddle: SDG
Derailleur: Shimano Deore in the rear matched to an 8 speed cassette; no front derailleur.
As you can see, I've had it set up mostly for downhill and freeride stuff. If you were to replace the fork with a singlecrown fork it would be a good dirtjumping/urban assault bike. It's not particularly heavy- somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-35 pounds, I believe. All the components are in good shape, but the frame has some paint missing from various crashes.
I'm asking $900 but will consider offers.
