Other Band Stuff
I could've just editted the post I made a few minutes ago but decided just to type a new one.
There are a few things been happening with the band. We are still in the process of writing things and havent had much done. We are just getting to the stage where we are seriously thinking about things, as a change to when we used to do a lot of covers. After our exams we have quite a long summer so in the next three months things should start to really take off.
We have started recording for 3TFM. This is the three towns radio. The interview has basically been completed although our info will be updated closer to the air-time. We will be recording three of our own songs and a cover (not telling you which songs these are, you have to listen to the radio). As far as I'm aware only three in total will be played on the radio but I'm not sure about that. I think we will also use some of this stuff for our first EP, which is probably gonna be given the name "Around The World and Back In Time For Dinner", coz it has a significance to us. The Bullet Time (This wont be our name when it goes out i dont think) special will air sometime around June. It should be available in the 3 Towns area and slightly further afield. I'm lead to believe there is an area in Paisley or thereabouts that will get to hear it too. We'll keep you tabbed on that.
Also Rock in the Room is on the 11th March (See previous post). At Kilwinning Academy's famous Charities Day we will be paying some sort of set (Longer than that of Rock in the Room, but details are to follow).
The biggest event that is approaching is the Space Place gig in Prestwick on the 15th April. There are currently no tickets onsale but if you wanna come along we will likely get some soon for you to get from the band or you can pay at the door(Think it's £3 which is reasonable coz its a great night).
Boyce is actively working on the website. Shouldn't take too long for it to be up and running, and this time it will:
a) Be decent
b) Work
c) Not go down all the time
d) updated and Maintained
e) Contain stuff that is useful/fun/important in relation to the band
Could be a couple of cool surprises for the website too... need to wait and see what we can do...
