No words.

In addition to my astonishment not two weeks ago... today I logged into MSN to check things about the France Airline tragedy and... yeah, one would think these things wouldn't happen anymore with advanced technology... u_u; I think nobody I knew was on the plane (... Cathy? Dai? What about you?). They're blaming it on speed-measurements malfunction ( Read more... )

news, man bra, plane crash

Yeah I heard about the Air France incident, but I didn't find out about any of the details so far. But they reckon that there was a problem with what was essentially the speedometer? I thought it was the flying into a huge set of tropical storms that did the damage {all that turbulence and whatnot}. I'm glad noone we knew was on the flight though, I do feel sorry for the families of the people that were. No mode of transport is 100% safe butat least in this world flying is still considered the safest mode of transport available and we do have the digiports {though I know what you mean that they're not 100% safe either. We need to work out how to land on our feet for a start...}

... X-x. I did not need to see that Takeru.

Yeah, the storms were part of the problem because they made the turbulence - during which the speedometer should have leveled the plane's speed (if it's too slow, it stalls and looses quota and if it's too fast... well it falls apart, like it did). But yes, I see no imminent future for digiport transport... ^^;

... ^^;;;;; I was astounded, but c'mon Miya, there's been worse. It's just a piece of clothing some people (for reasons unknown to mankind) feel better wearing. Live and let live, I guess - tho I can't promise I won't die a little inside if I ever see somebody wearing something like that under a shirt... I mean why, good grief. it'd be better with frilly bottom underwear tho not by much.

Well I guess that makes sense, forgive me my brain is being all fuzzy because I've been studying all day ^^;. I don't really see any future transport like that either, and to be fair we only use them when it's convenient or we have to.

Well I guess so, but after seeing certain... images on the internet in the past, the picture is taking my mind places I don'y necessarily want it to go... >_>

Oh no worries. =) I didn't completely understand until I read it either... I mean the one thing that was broken and should help the plane through a storm (which is something they couldn't fix or move), so... yeah. No doubt though that it would have been bad even if the plane hadn't crashed then.. I mean, how do you land a plane with wrong speed measurements?

Uh... O_O; Places? What?

That makes everything make a lot more sense. Thank you Takeru ^^. But yeah, I can't imgine how they would be able to land the plane with a broken speedometer either. I guess they'd have to estimate it, but when you're flying and looking out of the window the plane doesn't seem to be moving very fast until it's near the ground ^^;.

You do not want to know Takeru, seriously ><;. Let's just say I've had my fair share of clicking the wrong links

... Miya. Just a heads up; when men wear that, I doubt they want it to be called cute or associated to Hello Kitty.

I might be wrong tho. X_X
