Things are about to get weird...for these guys now
((As assigned by HT, I'll be NPCing Sunstorm for the time being. And head's up to the crew on this, slightly different start from what was suggested.))
*After leaving the Arctic -- first retrieving the pair of spears from the doorway and finding they could subspace the weapons now (and, subsequently, the entrance to the passage was sealed again)-- the Seeker Brothers lead the group south...and just shy of the other pole, stop in Australia, at Ayers Rock to be specific. Upon the top of the formation Sunstorm locates a set of grooves that fit the shape of the spears and blades, and he and Starscream place the weapons as they did in the Arctic. A section of the ground slides inward to reveal a staircase leading down. Starscream eyes it, waiting for another energy test to appear around the opening, but there's no trace of any bluish -- or any color -- light. The Dark seeker enters without making any snide comments for a change.*
*The staircase leads to a large chamber. Starscream again looks for the same energy fields as in the previous cave but still sees no evidence of anything.*
Brother--
*He turns, expecting to see Sunstorm, but sees no one else from the quest except Megatron. And suddenly he gets a very odd feeling about all this, at first wondering why his enhanced senses didn't pick up on anything, then feeling a drain as if that very power was leaking out of him from the coreside out. At the same time, he feels something else taking root in his processor and he glances at one hand to see tiny threads of bright green weaving amongst the purple energy*
