I've been reading all my firends journals and I have to agree school right now is CRAZY. So many people are gunna like kill themselves over the stress from it that it seems school should be the number one cause of suicide. I mean, the teachers and governmant obviously have no idea what is going on now do they? We have to basically fight for our future to the point where we are getting physically and mentally sick, it's ruining our homelives and now we just don't care anymore. It doesn't sound like the new curriculum is teaching us anything except that you can get far enough behind to want to give up. This is ridiculus! I wish there was some way to point this out to the government. Noone wants to have to do exams and summatives that are worth 30% of our mark and could mean failing! That's BS! We should go back to the old system where if you have 70%+ you don't need exams. Haven't they figured out that if someone is failing to the point where they need perfect on the summative and exam to pass they're not even going to show up? And being in a termed school doesn't help either. Our guidence obviously doesn't know what the hell we're going through if they can sit there and say work harder. They had it easy in highschool, we don't. Overloading students with work isn't the way to help them learn at all but do any of the teachers see that? NOPE lol so yeah, I'm not sure about what the rest of the school thinks but I really want to say something about this summative/exam 30% crap.
