From the yearbook office...
Yesterday, was one of the funnest days of my life. Desiree and Janice are so "cracked up"...literally. we went rummaging around g'ville for boxes para la mudada. they are moving too. so we went to wal-mart, publix, winn-dixie. we also hit a couple of liqour stores. ha and we even took a box that was outside of best buy just lying there. it was huge, carmen and i stuck all our shoes and purses in there. let me tell you something, that's alot of shoes and purses considering that box is about 4 feet wide and like 3 feet high. ha. when my mother sees that box, she is going to laugh and then laugh some more. we then went to Cici's Pizza and it was there that the birth of "the dirty girl's social club" came about. ha. i'll explain more about that in another entry. anywho...
so i'm sitting here in the yearbook office with leslie and jose and we just finished cutting 3000 flyers to stuff in dorm mailboxes. how FANtastic. lol. it was great cuz Leslie and I had inspiration from Bryson...he is soooo gorgeous!
anywho. Leslie, Jose and I took a trip around the little area around Chipotle (pronounced Chi-POAT-lay...OR like i say Chi-POT-lll, just like that too)...anyway...we had an interesting time. Leslie and I completed our mission..it was FANtastic.
i have had a really uneventful day. i am still waiting for my paycheck. can you believe that its been a month and i still havent gotten paid. this PeopleSoft shit is retarded. i want my money...its almost $500 that "they" owe me.
on the upside though, i have been able to adelantar my story for MMC2100. i don't think that it will be too heinous...considering that i pretty much pulled it outta my ass. i'm going to be getting like an A or a B in that class, si dios quiere and i'm soooo happy about it. really. considering its supposed to be tough as shit. i can't wait till Fall semester though. new apartment, new car, new attitude! (and hopefully we'll throw in a boyfriend...lol). Yay!
o! and also on the upside, carmen and i won't have to put things in storage. we will be able to move in soon, like the 12th of august. that makes me happy, b/c that means that i will have time to spend with my mom even though im going to have to leave miami a little earlier. don't worry though, b/c i will be back in miami sept. 11th, hopefully...for the youth leadership school which should prove to be fun. maybe i'll go b/c that's the weekend before HHM and i think i'll need to get stuff done..lol..my event is the 18th...don't worry friends, i will let you know all the details. lol.
